SUMMARY:NO CLASS TONIGHT
DESCRIPTION:Relax – The session starts with crystal bowls and guided relaxation to ease your body and mind. \nRelease – After you are free of tension the Buffalo drum lowers your brainwaves and facilitates the release of stuck emotions and clogs in your energetic system. \nRecharge – After the release and flow of energy from the drum you are recharged with beautiful melodies\, drone instruments\, crystal bowls and chimes. \nThis is a weekly in person event. \n$20 Entry \nPlease be on time. If late enter as quietly as possible to not disturb other attendees when the session is in progress. \nEnjoy a 45-50 minute Sound Bath (Sound Healing Journey) lead by sound healer and artist Sam Bernal. The sound session takes place at the beautiful Yoga Journey studio located in North Huntington Beach. \n$20 Entry \nTimeline:\n6:40 – 7:00 PM Arrival and set up of your laying area\n7:00-7:03 PM Sound Healing Journey Begins\n7:45-7:50 PM Session Ends\n7:50-8:00 PM Optional Q&A and Experience Share \nWhat to Bring:\nYoga Mat\, Pillows\, blankets\, sleeping pads…. whatever you need to be comfortable and relaxed. \nThe Ground is CONCRETE in the studio so bring as many pads\, blankets and pillows as you need to be comfortable and still laying on the floor for 60 minutes. \nEye masks are optional and can assist in allowing a deeper state of meditation if desired. \nParking:\nParallel park along either side of the green belt (long curbed grassy area) in front of the studio \nSpaces in front of the buildings are reserved for the respective businesses even after hours. Please do not park there in order to keep a harmonious environment with the business neighbors and building management. \nSound Session Etiquette:\nSeating and Yoga mat Placement: Please allow for everyone’s reasonable personal space based on the number of attendees. \nLate Arrival:\nQuietly place your things and enjoy the session. Do your best not to disrupt any attendees or Sam as he plays. \nSnoring:\nIf you happen to snore or experience other breathing issues while sleeping\, Sam may need to wake you during the session usually by gentle nudging your foot. This is to preserve the experience for the other attendees. If you are prone to falling asleep and snoring\, sitting up and leaning against the wall can also help. \nInstruments:\nPlease refrain from bringing your own instruments including drums\, sound bowls etc. There is a natural flow and structure to each sound session that Sam creates intuitively based on the energy of the group\, environment etc. Playing instruments outside of this flow can be a distraction for the other attendees. \nSleeping:\nSound baths are very relaxing and it is not uncommon for people to fall asleep. Your body will still receive benefits of the sound healing during sleep and it is also a mindfulness practice to close your eyes and fix your attention on the sounds while staying conscious. \nDistracting sounds:\nOn occasion sounds from the surrounding environment outside may intrude on the session. Please use this as a mindfulness practice and surrender to the sounds while letting go of any judgements. This will lead to a more pleasant experience for you. \nIf you have any questions please don’t hesitate to send a message.
